All nice escapes into freeness. The best things in life are free -- 99% of which are either inside us already, or right in front of our noses.
There's a lot of useful free stuff out there! Here are ten of the sites we like best for scoring free stuff such as food, household product samples, software, magazines, games, internet services, and "freecycled" stuff.
- The Freecycle Network.
The Freecycle Network allows members to give and receive free stuff rather than seeing it go to waste in landfills.
This site has been around from the beginning of the Web and has one of the longer and more trustworthy lists of well-categorized free stuff, samples and services.
Craigslist requires caution because you're picking up freebies from strangers, but it's also a great "freecycling" site to get used items.
Freestuff.com is one of the more comprehensive sites, with descriptions that are more detailed and accurate than on most sites.
